Cape Cod Mermaid Hair is the first and only hair tinsel company on the Cape!
Cape Cod Mermaid Hair was founded in 2020 by Lynda, the original creator of Cape Cod Mermaid Hair,
who learned how to tie tinsel to hair in Florida.
In 2023, Sue trained with Lynda,
and over the spring and summer, tied over 1,000 strands of tinsel in to Mermaids of all ages,
from Harwich to Middleboro.
Sue is excited to be the new owner/operator of Cape Cod Mermaid Hair!
In addition to the Cape, she will be taking Mermaid Hair to the South Coast & South Shore.

We are happy to be the first to bring it here to the Cape!
We use only the finest Thai silk strands.
Each tinsel strand is tied to an individual strand of hair,
unlike some companies that use tape or clip beads.
Mermaid Hair is fun for all ages!
We are available at local shops for pop ups, birthday parties, girls' nights, bachelorettes and weddings!
