Here's a little secret, since you're here - if you happen to live between a posted pop-up or other event and my home in Bourne, I can often come to your before or after for a private appointment, with a reduced minimum of $25. I might also have a birthday party scheduled that is not posted - if it's in your town, I can possibly accommodate! It doesn't hurt to ask! Get in touch by email or text.
It is individual strands of tinsel that is tied to the individual strand of one's hair. Hair tinsel comes in many colors for a variety of looks; for either a very subtle hint of sparkle or a vibrant and bold look. One can have just a couple tied in, or quite a few, depending on the desired look.
That depends! It lasts as long as the hair that it is tied to. So, that could be days, weeks, months, and sometimes even longer. Lynda has one that was actually tied in 1 1/2 years ago!!

Yes! You can wash, dry, curl, flat iron (not over 375) and even color over it. And, of course, you can swim with it! While the hair tinsel goes in rather straight, it gradually takes on the natural bend of the hair, and looks beautiful when curled!

Appointments are not made for pop-up and fair events, but we can come to you for a private appointment in your home. It can be one person or several - make your own pop-up event! There is a $100 minimum purchase for private appointments, within 30 miles of the Sagamore Bridge. (Travel fee applies over 30 miles.) That's just 50 strands between everyone present. Weekday evening, anyone?

Absolutely! But not just Birthday parties, it can be any event where the host treats their guests to Mermaid Hair. I've done 40th birthday parties, Bridal Showers, and Bat Mitzvahs!
Pricing:
Host-paid: $100 for up to 12 participants, 4 strands each. That takes about 1 hour. If you have more party-goers (include the moms!), or would like each person to get more strands, you can add an additional hour for $100.
Want to treat the kids, but the moms want Mermaid Hair too? (As they should, Mermaid Hair is for ALL ages!) Anyone else at the party can pay $2 per strand themselves. No maximum or minimum if it's in addition to the host-paid paid party. Just let me know if you think the party will go over 1 hour so we can plan our time accordingly.
Travel fee: Within 30 miles of the Sagamore Bridge = None!
Mileage fees are calculated using Google maps, from Sagamore Bridge to your address. The fee listed below includes round-trip mileage (because I have to get home, too!)
Between 31 and 40 miles from the bridge, $15
41 - 50 miles from bridge, $25
51 - 60 miles from bridge, $40

Deposit:
$50 deposit required when booking is confirmed with date, time, length of party, and address, by email or text. Deposit refunded if cancelled by the previous week Friday for any weekend party (8 or 9 days). Full refund if cancelled by me for any reason (I would have to be really sick to cancel!) Deposit can be made by Venmo @Susan-Salvesen or Zelle (bank to bank transfer). Use phone 508-527-1911 to confirm Venmo or to use Zelle.

Grand Openings, Business Anniversary, any Special Occasion - or Just for Fun!
I have popped-up at many types of businesses, not just boutiques, and not just kid-zones! All I need is space (indoors Oct-March!) for a couple of small tables and a chair, which I will bring, and good lighting.
Pop-ups at your business are mutually beneficial. I advertise the date, time, location to my over 2,000 followers on Instagram and Facebook, and here on my website, which gets pretty good traffic, if I say so myself! I will tag your business in the post or reel. You can share my posts, make a social media event of your own, or advertise it however you like. There's no cost or fees between us. It will bring traffic in to your business because people who follow me will come, and you are offering something unique to your own clients that day.
